This piece is a master work that stemed from a high school ceramics project. This was one of the few collaboration pieces that my friend Ken and I actually completed. It took several weeks to build the sandwich, and about twice as long to paint it. It has been exhibited in several art shows and museums and has won prizes at both the Santa Clara county fair and the San Jose museum of modern art. The picture below shows only half of the completed piece. Ken has the other half.
