The bowling ball

This is an 8 inch bronze vase that I cast in 92. It has about 100 small bronze faces sculpted around a simple lipped vase. Unfortunately, when I went to pour this piece, the inside of the mold broke and the inner volume began to fill. Thus this piece took two pours (which left some really ugly cooling scars), about 65 pounds of bronze, and was solid. That's why it's called the bowling ball. Unfortunately, this piece didn't turn out as I had hoped and I recycled the bronze.
