The Globe

This was my second scrapture, and my favorite to date. The idea came from a magazine ad. I can't remember what the ad was about but the imagry stuck in my head. It made me question what people are thinking about when they create imagery or art for profit. On one hand, it's great to be able to make money be doing what you love and what you're good at, but on the other hand, you may be forced to give up your freedom and artistic control (i.e. selling out). This lead me to start thinking about freedom and control in my life and how I could express it using simple, yet visually stunning, imagery.
