| For a brief period I did some abstract works in oil pastels just to see what I was missing. While I really enjoyed the medium, I found that I was drawn into using a very small color pallete with strong contrasts. This contrast, along with the vividness of pastels wasn't something that represented me well, so I soon moved on to more interesting mediums. One of these days I may give pastels a chance again, but if I do, I'm sure that I will mix my own pastels. |
