These are just some interesting studies for some "beautiful object" sculptures that I worked on in 1990. Soon after my works turned into an installation piece involved 4 human hands and 4 partially painted chromes ball perched atop 4 pedistals. The piece was called "Beautiful Object" and it was an experiment to determine why people always considered the ball to be the beautiful object when the hand was what I was subtly trying to present.
